AUT University
Auckland University of Technology (AUT) is a New Zealand university established in 2000, evolving from a technical college founded in 1895. It has five faculties across three Auckland campuses City, North, and South plus three specialist sites.
In 2016, AUT had over 29,000 students, including 4,194 international and 2,417 postgraduate students. Its diverse student body spans various ethnicities and age groups. The university employed 2,474 staff (FTE) and reported that 86% of graduates secured full-time jobs within nine months. AUT ranked 441–450 in the 2016 QS World University Rankings.
